Microdermabrasion, is an intense exfoliating treatment that uses tiny crystals to buff away the very outer layer of skin cells. Microdermabrasion treatment also benefits from a vacuum action which stimulates the circulation and increases blood flow to the skin. Microdermabrasion is perfect for a number of skin concerns including fine lines and wrinkles, congested skin, and dull, tired looking skin. Microdermabrasion benefits include; deep exfoliation for clean, clear skin, improved skin tone, stimulates collagen and elastin production and speeds up cell renewal.

It is also very effective for more stubborn skin concerns including acne, acne scarring and pigmentation. Microdermabrasion is very effective for acne suffers, unblocking clogged pores, increasing blood flow to the area and promoting healing to remove pigmentation caused by spots.

How often you have microdermabrasion treatments will affect the results you achieve. We recommend a course of 6 facials carried out at intervals of 7-10 days, or alternatively having a monthly maintenance facial.

Microdermabrasion aftercare is also important to achieve the best results. Skin will benefit from regular applications of moisturiser and use an spf to protect the freshly exfoliated skin from the elements.

Eyebrow Lamination

Brow lamination is perfect for thin or unruly brows. The lamination treatment includes two-step eyebrow perming treatment that involves correcting the brow shape by setting the hairs in place using a chemical solution. The eyebrows then are ready to be brushed and manipulated into a new position. After the treatment your eyebrows will be set in place for up to 6 weeks.

Microblading

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create the illusion of fuller brows creating hair like strokes with the use of a manual pen containing a blade which is made up of small needles. Using this technique, we can create almost any look: from a very natural light finish to a beautifully bold brow. Before any microblading appointment we require a consultation with clients this is where you will receive a patch test at least 48 hour prior to treatment, we will also discuss about the best brow shape for your face and choose a colour that matches the natural hair colour and skin undertone.

Once returning for the first treatment after a successful patch test the brow area is then cleaned and numbed for the treatment. Once numbed the therapist will begin using the blade and creating your new brows and implanting the tattoo pigment into the epidermis layer. There is then a four-week healing time where the microblading can look like it has completely disappeared! At this point ‘do not panic’ this is completely normal. You will then return to the salon and the microblading process is repeated a second time. After another four weeks your brows will be fully pigmented looking fuller but most of all natural. This is a semi-permanent treatment unlike a traditional tattoo, therefore regular top ups are recommended every six months to one year depending on pigment retention, every client is different.

SmartDiode is the latest evolution in laser technology- SmartDiode is the latest method for removal of unwanted hair, superfast, safe and pain free!

The treatment uses selected wavelengths of low energy light rapidly pulsed onto the skin up to 600 times per minute, gently heating and targeting hair follicles causing permanent damage and preventing hair regrowth.

SmartDiode laser hair removal can be used on all skin types. Each treatment will effect approximately 30% hair growth within the target area. We recommend a minimum of 8 treatments, with some hair types requiring more. The average for a successful programme is 10/12 treatments.
